Calais Lorry Driver Fines ‘incredibly unfair’
Unfortunately, Haulage firms and lorry drivers have been fined more than £4million after migrants were found in their vehicles that we have learned @ cpctraining.com.This is an incredible amount of money for any company and I hate to think what it’s like for the lorry drivers. This is a 50% increase on last year so the situation is getting worse year on year, an incredible 3,300 fines were issued at this time. Only 7% of penalties imposed were issued to British drivers & here at the cpctraining.com we have help on this but I’ll come to that later let’s give you some more Info first ………..
It’s been said that everything is stacked against the driver with regards to this and some truckers have been travelling abroad for 20+ years and feel this is a constant threat which isn’t very nice every time they make the trip financially and for the working day.
