National Lorry Week
Now don’t get over excited it’s not until the 26th Oct – 31st October but I am however very excited and wanted to tell all you truckers about this HUGE event in the HGV industry. It’s a Major part of the industry you’re either already involved in or is looking to get into. Here at cpctraining.com we are massive ambassadors of anything involving raising the public profile of the Road Freight Industry it underpins the virtually all of the RHA’S efforts to secure a better deal and better future for the industry.
We all know by now there are issues within the industry – The driver shortage, apprenticeships, fuel duty, the migrant issues at Calais ( which I talked about a few weeks ago that we cover here at cpctraining.com in modules for your 35 hrs. periodic CPC ) roads, and so on. These issues significantly affect the economy or the public. Unless the public understands that we provide a vital service, central to them leading a normal life, we will struggle to get the support we need.
Powerful stuff right? Don’t EVER underestimate what you guys and girls do for the general public on a daily basis take a second to think about it.

We all know we are all in this together like one big family we want to make our roads safe I wanted to bring this to your attention if you didn’t already know as it’s important while we are loving the lorry that we have the right qualifications to make our roads safe and make you all legal and above board.
